What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient electrophysiology call coverage at HSHS St. Johns Hospital in Springfield
• Participate in EP procedures and consults based on hospital needs
• Coordinate with hospital staff to deliver high-quality cardiac electrophysiology services
• Manage complex arrhythmia cases and emergency EP interventions
• Access state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging support
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols

What You Need

• Valid Illinois Medical License; Board Certified or eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in EP practice or related field
• Ability to perform EP procedures and manage emergency cases
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities

About the Assignment
This coverage opportunity is at a leading hospital in Springfield, Illinois, focusing exclusively on EP call duties. The team prefers one physician per week, but flexibility exists based on availability. Dates range from September 2026 through May 2027, covering weekends, with particular availability noted for these weeks.
