Our team promotes a collaborative work culture where experienced therapists support one another to enhance patient care, ensuring a meaningful and rewarding experience for both therapists and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on detailed evaluations of each patient's condition.Implement physical therapy treatments that include manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.Guide patients in performing essential exercises as per their treatment plans, ensuring proper techniques to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.Utilize adaptive equipment, such as walkers and assistive devices, to support patients in their recovery journey.Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to align with ongoing recovery goals.Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and provide guidelines for continued care post-treatment.Assist with mentoring and training junior staff on best practices and technical skills within the therapy setting.Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy.Perform any additional job-related duties as assigned, ensuring a responsive and patient-centered approach at all times.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions requiring specialized rehabilitation services. Working closely with this population allows our therapists to apply their knowledge creatively, significantly impacting patient recovery journeys. Each session is designed to empower patients by building their strength, balance, and overall function.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in California.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic therapy.Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication and empathy.The ability to work independently and make clinical judgments in a home care setting.Preferred ExperienceExperience in home health or outpatient orthopedic clinics is highly desirable.Certification in specialized orthopedic therapy techniques, such as manual therapy or post-operative rehabilitation, is a plus.Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation is preferred.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this full-time position is between USD 50,000 and 70,000 annually.
