As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when required. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
