Corporate Accountant

Job Brief Provide routine and general accounting services to company according to company business objectives and general accounting practices. You will also support the Controller group as needed. What You'll Do As a corporate accountant, you will provide routine and general accounting services pertaining to Dyno Nobel North America. These duties will include: Assist with month end close procedures including booking journal entries and performing account reconciliations. Prepare a variety of accounting statements such as working papers, schedules, exhibits, or summaries to provide business information to management and field personnel. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documents to audit teams as requested. Communicate with supervisors; managers; field staff; and other business, corporate, accounting, and finance staffs to obtain and exchange information. Perform planning, primarily regarding individual workload to meet deadlines and business objectives. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred) or finance required, CPA preferred. 3+ years experience preferred, but may be a recent college graduate. Knowledge of accounting journal entries and how entries impact financial statements. Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge or ability to learn SAP and company accounting software.
