About the Role
The Company is seeking a Compliance Risk Management Lead - Vice President to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in supporting the firm's strength and resilience, with a focus on responsible business growth and the identification and assessment of new and emerging risks. This role requires a professional with significant experience in compliance, operational risk, audit, or internal controls within a complex, global environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blockchain business use cases, distributed ledger technology, digital assets, and the associated risks, as well as a proven track record in managing emerging risks and regulatory challenges. As a Compliance Risk Management Lead, the role involves providing second-line oversight, assessing compliance and operational risk for new products, technologies, and vendor relationships, and supporting process improvements across the business. The candidate should be adept at driving process improvements, delivering risk-based solutions, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment. Strong interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively across teams and geographies. The role also includes monitoring regulatory and legislative changes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement and process efficiency. Experience in payments or financial services, as well as familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in blockchain, digital assets, and payments, is preferred.
