Purchasing & Inventory Assistant

Location : D&B Tile Distributors – Distribution Center, Hialeah, FL

Schedule : Monday–Friday, Full Time

Join Our Team! We’re seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to support centralized purchasing, inventory control, and inbound shipments at our Distribution Center. This role ensures stock accuracy, smooth vendor communication, and efficient purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage purchase orders and inbound shipments in NetSuite
• Review vendor confirmations, pricing, and ETAs
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate weekly counts
• Process daily vendor invoices and freight billing
• Communicate with vendors and stores about backorders, changes, and shipments
• Monitor stock usage and reorder materials to maintain healthy inventory levels
• Assist with imports, purchases, receiving, and claims
• Support the warehouse with inventory adjustments and documentation
• Keep records organized and provide administrative support to the purchasing team

What We're Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (preferred)
• Purchasing, logistics, or inventory experience is a plus

Compensation:

• $20 per hour
