Saugerties Animal Hospital has been in business since 1933. Saugerties is staffed by a team of 15: four doctors, three licensed veterinary technicians, four client service representatives, and four veterinary assistants. The hospital offers a full range of general practice services including comprehensive preventive care, surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and mass removals, dental cleanings, laser therapy, ultrasound, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory diagnostics. The culture at Saugerties is strongly team-oriented and centered on patient care. Staff collaborate well, and capable team leaders keep daily operations running smoothly. The team is highly experienced and seasoned with low turnover. Practice Manager Saugerties Animal HospitalinSaugerties,NY Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 What You’ll Do Serveas the point person for staff questions and routine problems Responsible for creating a hospital environment that bolsters the morale and retention of doctors and staff Review monthly financials, oversee staff spending, ensure bank deposits areaccurateand taken multiple times per week Responsible for staff performance and salary reviews, with input from Hospital Partners Grow a positive work culture to include excellent employee relations and communication Ensure hospital has positive operational flow Oversee that the compassionate patient care is the top priority Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient exam and surgery flow, and hospital operations Ensure that the OSHA and Safety program is continuously monitored Creating requisitions for staffing needs, interviewing, and onboarding Responsible for all Human Resources needs, disciplinary actions, and daily issues Our Comprehensive Benefit Package Includes Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with a total company match up to 4%, after 6 months of employment Generous paid time off and flexible scheduling Continuing education allowance and professional development support Mental Health Resources Company paid bonding leave or applicable state provided bonding leave Perks for Your Pets Too!
