Job Opportunity – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician – Michigan

Location: Bay Region, Michigan

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM onsite. Coverage needed for two consecutive weeks (November 23-27 and November 30-December 4). No weekends or call required.

Highlights:

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with 20-bed capacity serving 100% adult rehabilitation population
• Daily patient census of 10-20 patients requiring face-to-face evaluations and ongoing care
• Structured team conference schedule (Monday 8:30 AM, Wednesday 8:30 AM, Friday 11 AM)
• EMR system: Cerner
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities – focused exclusively on inpatient rehab coverage
• 24-hour lab and anesthesia support available onsite

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Active Michigan state medical license (IMLC not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Local to Michigan region
• Clean background for expedited credentialing
• Experience with PM&R procedures including pre-admission screening, post-admission evaluations, weekly care plan documentation, discharge summaries, medication reconciliation, and prescribing narcotics per CMS guidelines
• Availability for specified coverage dates
