Job Title Junior Trainer Salary $45,000 - $50,000 Annual Salary Location Jamaica and Far Rockaway (alternate schedule) Purpose A socially-conscious company is seeking Junior Trainers to facilitate job readiness workshops for low‑income and underserved job seekers. They will design and facilitate curriculum for adult and youth participants around topics of career exploration, job search best practices, professionalism, and more; as well as facilitating small group sessions with job seekers. Junior Trainers will ideally be entry‑level or recent college graduates who are interested in future careers in workforce development and job readiness training. Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate workshops on a variety of job readiness and educational topics Design curriculum and lesson plans for a variety of job readiness topics Research content and create presentations for new classes Facilitate in‑person and/or virtual workshops Work on special assignments, as needed Desired Qualifications Minimum of 4‑year degree Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English Experience with teaching, mentoring, and/or tutoring preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently Ability to work creatively and adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to public assistance recipients, justice‑involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Generous Paid Time Off Package 401K with Employer Matching After 1 Year Free Gym Membership at New York Sports Clubs After 1 Year Wonderful team, great work‑life balance, and an opportunity to work towards an important mission of helping individuals achieve self‑sufficiency This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
