Job Summary Registered Nurse at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital will provide patient‑centered care, supported by advanced technology, robust supply chains, and ongoing clinical education. You will be equipped with staffing support and resources to focus on delivering safe, high‑quality care. Responsibilities Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record, including medication administration, therapeutic monitoring, and response actions. Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
