This role is located in Houston, TX with a 1st shift schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Salary is paid weekly. The role provides an opportunity to learn how to manage a heavy‑duty truck repair shop while being paid to train. The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) program is an 18‑month structured and comprehensive training program to develop leadership and operational knowledge. Responsibilities Provide quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers. Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction. Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policy and processes are followed to optimize running costs and maintenance overhead. Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure accurate predictive maintenance scheduling and follow‑up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility. Provide overall support to Operations Management Trainee program and complete all tasks as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheet and word processing software packages (advanced required). Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics (beginner required). Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. One (1) year or more customer‑service with issue‑resolution experience preferred. Prefer those with mechanic experience. DOT Regulated. Compensation Pay type: Salaried. Minimum pay range: $60,000.
