PAMI is looking for a service-oriented Lead Maintenance to join our high-performing management team in Austin! Responsible for diagnosing and performing repairs within their assigned property, which is more technical in nature and requires highly skilled levels of knowledge. What you will do in this position: Maintenance & Technical Repairs Performs tasks in several trades or crafts at their assigned development. Repairs plumbing, carpentry, electrical, household appliances, and heating systems using various methods, materials, and equipment. Diagnoses and performs repairs within assigned property that are highly technical in nature. Duties might involve the removal of low-level asbestos-containing building material (ACBM). Work Orders, Compliance & Supervision Ensures efficient and courteous response to residents' requests. Coordinates activities of workers and inspects work sites to ensure projects meet HACA and government safety standards. Maintains project records accurately and efficiently. Reads and understands repair manuals, instructions/warnings on cleaning agents, and writes service requests, maintenance reports, and inspection reports. Qualifications and Knowledge: High school graduate or GED. Three years' experience in apartment or building maintenance Vocational training and/or experience in areas of general repairs, carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and electrical repairs or an equivalent combination of education and experience Use of personally owned hand tools required Ability to read and write English.
