Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, follow applicable laws and company procedures for authorized equipment, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
