Facilities Laborer

Description Provide support to all facility related operations. Obtain and maintain forklift operating certification. Responsibilities Digs trenches and other excavations using picks and shovels. Demolishes, disassembles and removes structures such as scaffolding, partitions, foundations, floors and walks using hand tools (crowbars, sledgehammers, etc.). Removes debris and salvage material using broom, shovel, wheelbarrow or truck and loads into motor trucks. Removes snow using shovel/snow removal equipment as needed. Maintains roof drains on buildings. Moves office furniture throughout the facility using carts/dolly’s and hand trucks. Qualifications Ability to work independently or in teams. Ability to lift, bend and perform normal activities of a physically challenging position. Valid driver's license. U.S. citizen. Must obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance. Security Clearance Position requires a DOD government security clearance at the Secret level; a U.S. citizen is required for consideration. Compensation & Benefits Base wage: $20.65 - $25.83 per hour (New Jersey).
