Facilities Specialist (Agency Temp)

Job Overview Temporary Facility Specialist located at 121 S Mountain View Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90057. Supports the Real Estate, Facility Operations, and Security team by maintaining the facility that serves an adult day center and onsite medical clinic. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, patching drywall, and furniture assembly/repair. Maintain grounds through raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, and pressure washing. Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and plan corrective actions when needed. Enter and update work tickets in the maintenance system; maintain accurate logs and inventory records. Conduct inspections to identify maintenance or repair needs and communicate with Facility Operations team. Provide support during emergencies, special events, and new care center openings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for staff, participants, and visitors. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years related experience or training with facility maintenance equipment, including light‑duty power tools, drills, table saws, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. Experience handling hazardous materials or situations. Valid California Driver’s License. Ability to pass a post‑offer employment physical. Benefits Base Pay Range: $23.51 – $34.03 per hour – Onsite at the Greater Los Angeles location.
