Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description & Skill Requirement:
- Lead the design and development of manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures using SolidWorks.
- Create complete 3D fixture layouts, assemblies, and detailed fabrication drawings using GD&T.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to validate fixture concepts, support trials, and resolve shop. Floor issues.
- Drive process capability and productivity improvements through effective fixture solutions.
- Develop and maintain standardized work instructions incorporating fixture usage, operator guidance, and safety considerations.
- Study Assembly Lines/ Processes and identify areas for improvement as per Lean Principles
- Perform Time Study and Line Balancing - Elemental breakdown, Video Time study- All Processes (Stations & Operator), VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, Develop Current State Line Balancing, Muri Analysis
- Develop Value Stream Mapping - Current State VSM - Identify bottlenecks, wastes and inefficiencies, Capacity analysis and Current baselining, Future State VSM, Current state vs Future state
- Identify Process and productivity improvement opportunities for entire process with Level 1,2,3 improvement suggestions report and roadmap
- Develop/ re-write Standard work instructions, Video work instructions
- nalysis of Root Cause for the quality failures, defects, downtimes etc., and support in corrective action & Kaizen / improvement identification with detailed implementation plan
- Support in Fixture design as per requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, Manufacturing Engineering
- Shopfloor Experience is mandatory.
