The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor leads the Environmental Services team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff. This role focuses on managing daily operations, compliance with safety and infection control standards, and fostering a high-performance team. Required Qualifications:  

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 

• At least three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility within environmental services. 

• Proficient in mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, as well as compute rates, ratios, and percentages. 

• Familiarity with infection control techniques. 

• Knowledge of regulatory agencies, policies, codes, standards, and regulations relevant to environmental services. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Team Leadership and Development : Hire, train, evaluate, and manage housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring adherence to performance standards and providing guidance to maximize effectiveness. 

• Operational Oversight : Develop cleaning systems and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe, sanitary environment; manage supply procurement, equipment maintenance, and departmental budgeting. 

• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations; participate in quality improvement programs and facility committees to enhance environmental services.
