Accounts Receivable SpecialistLHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in White Plains/Westchester County who has an interim Staff Accountant with account receivable experience staffing need. This role is in the office 5 days/week.Responsibilities:Cash Application: Appropriately apply cash receipt to customers account, on a daily basisCustomer Account Reconciliation: Frequent review of the AR aging report to address discrepancies, open deductions and unpaid invoicesCollections: Daily review of past due invoices and maintaining a clean aging report (i.e. no past due) by proactively contacting customers on invoices becoming due/past due. Following through and being diligent in collection efforts (phone calls, emails, etc.)Deduction analysis, resolution and claims processing. Reviewing the validity of customer deductions and required chargebacks. Apply/clear all claims appropriately. The ability to review and interpret proof of delivery documentation (PODs) is critical to this taskReconciliation of sub-leger to general ledger.Assist with special projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting a mustStrong knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP softwareIntermediate level Microsoft Excel (vlookups, xlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust possess the ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment.1-2 years experience as a Staff AccountantExcellent organizational skills and capacity to prioritize tasks.Team playerMust be able to work well independently.Pay $30-$34/hr DOE
