Registered Dental Hygienist

Periodontal Health Associates is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing periodontal practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on periodontal health, and supporting our team in delivering high-quality specialty dental treatment in a professional and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Perform periodontal charting, prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and periodontal maintenance procedures Take and review digital radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal disease prevention, and post-treatment care Assist the doctor with periodontal procedures as needed Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Monitor patient comfort and provide excellent chairside manner throughout treatment Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experience Qualifications Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia Experience in periodontal or specialty dental practice preferred, but not required New graduates welcome Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Knowledge of CareStack or similar dental software preferred Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Holiday pay Continuing education opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
