Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Location: Lynchburg, VA
Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Practice Setting: Private Dental Practice / General Dentistry
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | Optional Friday & Saturday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a growing private dental practice in Lynchburg, VA. The ideal candidate will provide preventive dental care, patient education, and support high-quality clinical outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning

• Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting

• Take dental radiographs

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care

• Assist with treatment planning and patient care coordination

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols

• Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia RDH license required

• Degree in Dental Hygiene required

• Current CPR/BLS certification required

• General dentistry experience preferred

• Strong communication and patient care skills
