Certified Nursing Assistant Behavioral Unit 6a-6p

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on our Behavioral Unit at Onyx Care of Ringgold. As a CNA on our Behavioral Unit, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to patients with complex behavioral needs. About the Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant on our Behavioral Unit, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and vital sign checks
Providing personal care, including toileting, incontinence care, and grooming
Monitoring patients' behavior and responding to emergencies as needed
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Participating in staff meetings and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Louisiana
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility and balance issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
