Location 1651 Jefferson Parkway,Northfield, MN, 55057,United States Base Pay $23.00 - $25.00 / Hour Job Category Older Adult Services Employee Type Part-Time Hourly Required Degree High school Travel 30% Manage Others No The Older Adult Intake Specialist supports older adults and their caregivers through assessment, service coordination, volunteer engagement, and community outreach activities related to Meals on Wheels and Age Well Connections programs. This position completes participant assessments, provides resource navigation and benefit support, coordinates meal delivery volunteers, assists with billing and payment tracking, and maintains accurate program documentation. The role also serves as a community liaison by building partnerships, conducting outreach, and connecting older adults to services that support independence, nutrition, and well-being. We are looking for someone with a strong passion for serving older adults, building meaningful community connections, and making a positive impact throughout our region. This part-time position (28 hour per week) is Monday-Friday and will be based in Northfield. Starting pay is $23.00-25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Associate degree in a Human Services related field or 1-3 years’ related experience preferred. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both verbally and in writing. Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks. Extensive experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), including strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
