Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Florida
• Experience delivering speech and language services in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based population
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy to students
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians, teachers, and staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
• Maintain thorough and accurate records and comply with district and legal guidelines
• Offer consultation and guidance to educational staff and families as needed
