Director of Finance

Divergent Alliance is seeking a Director of Finance to lead accounting and financial operations from our Algonquin, Illinois office. This role directs financial reporting, job cost accounting, internal controls and financial planning, and leads the accounting team. It reports directly to executive leadership and partners closely with operations. Pay Range: $165,000-$215,000 We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, paid company holidays, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan RESPONSIBILITIES Direct monthly, quarterly and annual close and financial reporting Oversee job cost accounting, work-in-progress reporting and project financial analysis Manage progress billing, schedule of values, retainage and change order accounting Lead cash management, forecasting and working capital planning Establish and maintain internal controls, purchasing and approval policies Oversee financial systems and ERP administration Lead, mentor and develop the accounting and finance team Support banking, surety and external audit relationships Partner with operations leadership on budgeting, forecasting and margin analysis QUALIFICATIONS CPA strongly preferred Ten or more years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience Construction, engineering or project-based accounting experience required Strong command of percentage-of-completion accounting, WIP reporting and job costing ERP implementation or administration experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
