Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 + Bonuses/Commission

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Inside Estimator & Permit Manager to join our office team.

What You’ll Do (The Role)
This is a 100% office-based role. You won't be driving to site visits or dealing with traffic. Instead, you are the technical powerhouse in the office—taking raw field data from our Sales Consultants, engineering them into exact project blueprints, and steering our projects smoothly through the municipal permit pipeline.

• Analyze Field Data: Review marked-up photos, property details, and field notes provided by our Sales Consultants to fully understand project requirements.

• Draft Project Sketches: Produce clear, accurate project sketches and layouts based entirely on photos and property dimensions provided by the sales team.

• Build Detailed Scopes: Translate basic sales documentation into a highly structured, line-item Scope of Work (SOW) that our production crew can follow seamlessly.

• Calculate Accurate Estimates: Utilize our estimating software [insert software, e.g., Xactimate/Clear Estimates] to compute precise costs for materials, labor, and permits.

• Manage End-to-End Permitting: Prepare, submit, and track all residential construction permit applications with local municipalities (town/county building departments), ensuring full regulatory compliance and zero project delays.

• Coordinate Municipal Approvals: Serve as the primary point of contact for city plan reviewers and inspectors, resolving document corrections or permit inquiries quickly.

• Catch the Details: Act as the ultimate quality control safety net, spotting potential project complications, code issues, or missing field data before the contract is finalized.

• Experienced: You have [Insert Number, e.g., 2-5] years of experience in residential construction estimating, drafting, project scoping, or construction permit processing.

• A Permit & Process Whiz: You understand local zoning, building permit requirements, and how to navigate municipal portals efficiently.

• A Visual Translator: You excel at looking at marked-up photos and property data and translating them into clean digital sketches or layouts.

• Tech-Savvy: You are highly proficient with estimating software, CRM systems, municipal online permit portals, and basic digital sketching/drawing tools.

• Detail-Obsessed: You thrive on accuracy, love numbers, and take pride in producing airtight estimates and complete permit submissions.

• Proficiency with AI: You leverage modern tools to streamline workflows and increase output quality.
