Assistant Project Manager

Job Description Job Description Position Description: Summary/Objective: The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for reviewing construction and /or architectural documents for new or existing projects in addition to the following responsibilities. Job Duties \tPrepare and develop lay outs and architectural drawings according to client requests \tCoordinate drawings of the Draftsperson according to the project specifications \tUtilize AutoCAD and other programs to develop lay out and diagrams with attention to specification details \tConsult technical handbooks and guidelines and assist in landlord research \tAbility to interpret and apply state and local code compliances \tPrepare documents for project authorization and management of bidding processes \tMaintain accessible hardcopies and electronic files and records of survey office reports \tExecute site surveys on a need basis \tInteract with clients on project clarification and other architectural requirements \tEnsure compliance of all architectural guidelines and standards. \tProvide architectural support to Project Manager on multiple projects \tPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications \tBachelors Degree in Architecture or related field \tMinimum 2 years of experience as an APM or Job Captain in an architectural firm \tAbility to interpret construction data, engineering calculations and drawings \tProficiency in AutoCAD with strong 3D design skills and basic knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop or Illustrator \tProficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) \tExperience drafting retail or commercial construction documents preferred \tMust be able to work with minimal supervision \tMust be able to multitask and produce accurate work \tMust possess strong time management skills and the ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines Click link to submit resume; $60,000.00 - $73,000.00 Annually
