Assistant Project Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site and in office Assistant Project Manager role based in Gonzales, LA. The Assistant Project Manager will support project planning and execution for roofing and exterior construction projects, including scheduling, material coordination, and tracking progress. Daily responsibilities include assisting with site inspections, updating project documentation, communicating with vendors and subcontractors, and helping ensure that work meets safety, quality, and code requirements. The role also involves supporting logistics for deliveries, monitoring timelines and budgets, and addressing routine project issues in collaboration with the Project Manager. This position requires frequent interaction with field crews, office staff, and customers to maintain organized, on-time project completion. Qualifications Project coordination skills, including experience or familiarity with Project Management and Expediting to support scheduling, task tracking, and timely completion of work. Ability to manage activities related to materials and subcontractor schedules. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities. Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with crews, vendors, and customers. Basic proficiency with project management or office software.
