We often have multiple openings in the same market.Give us a callopt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, TNCC Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Experience and Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience required in Emergency Department (ED). Travel experience is not explicitly required, but first-time travelers are accepted. Previous Charge RN experience is preferred. Trauma Level II experience is preferred. Certifications and Licensure Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) EPIC charting system experience Preferred: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Skills and Clinical Experience Skills in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, emergency department (adult/pediatrics), gunshot wounds, head injury, ICP monitoring, arterial blood gases (ABGs) interpretation, dysrhythmias interpretation, isolation precautions/PPE use, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, spinal cord injury management, starting and maintaining IVs, STEMI certified facility interaction, stroke certified facility interaction, traumatic amputation, traumatic brain injury, triage, and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation. Required to pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed). EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience is required. Education and Background Verification Third-party education verification is required. Degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted. Active nursing license must be in hand upon submission. Vaccination Requirements COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed. Additional Requirements All required modules are non-billable and completed during orientation. No local candidates within a 50-mile radius. Current driver's license required to verify address.
