Diesel MechanicWe are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join our team and maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. If you have experience working with heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, or industrial machinery, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and related systemsPerform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotationsConduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsUse diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issuesReplace or repair faulty components, including fuel systems, hydraulics, and exhaust systemsMaintain detailed service records and documentation for each vehicle or machineWork closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairsFollow all workplace safety procedures and guidelinesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferredProven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technicianStrong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel injection systems, and hydraulicsProficiency in reading schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic toolsAbility to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditionsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailValid driver's license (CDL is a plus)Preferred Qualifications:Diesel Certification or equivalentExperience working with fleet vehicles.Strong understanding of electrical and computerized engine systemsPerks & Benefits:Competitive pay and overtime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday payOngoing training and professional developmentUniform providedSubmit your resume and a brief cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications.
