TRUE FINISHING LLC is seeking a Floor Finisher to join our flooring team in Denver, CO.
Position SummaryThe Floor Finisher is responsible for preparing, finishing, and maintaining floors to ensure a clean, consistent, and professional appearance. This role supports high-quality work by following job specifications, using appropriate finishing methods, and ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and protected.
In this hands-on position, you’ll work closely with the team to deliver reliable results on residential or commercial flooring projects while maintaining safe and efficient work practices at the job site.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare flooring surfaces by cleaning, leveling, repairing imperfections, and removing debris to meet project requirements.
Apply finishes and coatings using proper techniques to achieve desired appearance, durability, and consistency.
Follow job plans, measurements, and specifications to ensure accurate workmanship and alignment with project goals.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure the workspace is kept organized.
Adhere to safety procedures on site, including proper handling of materials and safe work practices.
Ability to perform detailed, physical work involving standing, kneeling, lifting, and working on or around floors for extended periods.
Prior experience finishing floors or related surface preparation work.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality results.
Willingness to follow instructions, work effectively in a team environment, and complete tasks reliably on schedule.
Ability to arrive when scheduled at the shop at 2290 S LIPAN ST, DENVER, CO 80223 to go to job sites in Denver and the surrounding area.
Experience with multiple types of flooring finishes and surface preparation methods.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot minor surface issues during the finishing process.
Experience working in a fast-paced or deadline-driven construction or renovation environment.
Valid drivers license.
Hourly rate: $21.00 (negotiable based on prior experience.)
