Part-time Certified Firefighters (AEMT / EMTI)

Regular Full-Time Decatur, GA Major Responsibilities Seek and incorporate customer feedback for continuous improvement; promote a positive, motivating work environment and cultivation of leadership skills. Demonstrate commitment to safety, ensure high quality services, maintain and manage equipment, and provide timely feedback on work status. Deliver excellent customer service through cooperative teamwork, build positive relationships with coworkers and the public. Perform fire suppression, basic emergency care, salvage overhaul, equipment inspections, fire prevention inspections, incident diagnosis, education programs, and documentation; support related duties. Minimum Qualifications & Physical Requirements 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License or ability to obtain (Non-commercial Class A or B). Certified as a Fire Fighter EMT-I or higher. Pass pre-employment drug screen; able to lift and carry heavy objects (51-100 lbs.) and perform physical tasks under severe working conditions. Possible exposure to exhaust fumes, dust, cleaning fumes, fire fumes, pollen, and related environmental conditions. Work in hazardous conditions, confined spaces, and uncontrolled settings as required. Live and work 24‑hour shift in a confined setting with a diverse team. Salary Range: $16.50 to $17.00 per hour.
