Senior Project Manager

LHH is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Civil Engineering experience for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a large and well-respected civil engineering firm located in Indianapolis, IN. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team and to join an industry leader where you will assist with a variety of new and exciting construction projects with an emphasis on land development across various sectors (primarily commercial). The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $130,000-150,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive medical insurance options, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan. *This is a hybrid position that requires onsite work in Indianapolis, IN so you must live within driving distance. Relocation packages and sign-on bonuses are offered if you need to relocate closer to the office location. ***Company will not sponsor applicants for Work Visas*** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage civil design projects, including commercial, healthcare, educational, residential, and retail developments. Oversee all project stages, from initial layouts to final engineering designs. Collaborate with the Civil Engineers to survey new construction sites, evaluate existing structures for potential upgrades, and oversee site grading, storm sewer design, and site utility infrastructure. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals. Provide technical expertise in Civil 3D and other relevant software. Document processes and present project progress updates to senior managers and clients. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is highly preferred Registered Professional Engineer License preferred; candidates without registration but with significant experience will also be considered. Minimum of 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience Must have proven experience in site development, grading, drainage, and/or utility design Extensive project management experience, including managing client relationships and leading project teams Must be proficient at using AutoDesk Civil 3D and/or Revit/BIM Must have knowledge of current civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codes Must possess strong time-management and organizational skills While not often, you must be available to perform occasional site visits or attend in-person client meeting when necessary (all travel would be local to the office and fully reimbursed) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you or someone in your network fit this profile and would like to apply for this Senior Project Manager position with a civil engineering firm located in Indianapolis, IN, please submit your application alongside your resume using the link in this posting.
