Position Overview

Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join their team in Falls Church, VA. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced office environment. The Customer Service Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring inquiries are handled efficiently and providing exceptional service throughout the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Respond to customer questions regarding products, services, orders, and account information.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Process orders, update customer records, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requests are completed efficiently.
• Track and follow up on open issues to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide a positive customer experience.
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service, administrative support, call center, or client-facing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience working with CRM systems or customer databases is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
