The Learning Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective learning solutions that enable employees to perform their roles successfully. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to analyze needs, recommend learning strategies, and manage projects across the full lifecycle. Learning solutions may include e-learning and self-paced content, instructor-led training materials, multimedia assets, and job aids.

The Learning Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective learning solutions that enable employees to perform their roles successfully. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to analyze needs, recommend learning strategies, and manage projects across the full lifecycle. Learning solutions may include e-learning and self-paced content, instructor-led training materials, multimedia assets, and job aids.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting needs and gap analyses and providing actionable learning recommendations
- Recommending appropriate learning strategies and instructional approaches
- Designing and developing complex learning solutions aligned to business and learner needs
- Developing project plans, schedules, and milestones, and managing work through the project lifecycle
- Leveraging existing and emerging learning technologies to deliver engaging solutions
- Designing and recommending evaluation and measurement tools to assess effectiveness
- Monitoring feedback and evaluating the impact of learning solutions
- Communicating results and recommendations clearly to business partners
- Identifying opportunities to streamline resources without compromising quality
- Contributing to short- and long-term organizational learning initiatives
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Required
- Minimum of two years of experience in instructional design, curriculum design, learning technologies, adult learning, or a related business field
- Experience applying adult learning principles to develop effective learning solutions
- Strong instructional design and content development skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet quality and delivery standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning and development, learning technologies, or a related field
- Three years of experience designing engaging learning experiences using best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and rapid development authoring tools
- Experience with learning platforms such as LMS, LXP, DAP, and/or LRS
- Knowledge of incorporating multimedia elements (audio, video, graphics) into blended learning solutions
- Experience with project management tools and techniques
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with business partners
- Experience with UX design concepts as applied to learning
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with trends in talent development
