Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to join our Winchester, VA office. Primarily, this role serves as a witness during estate planning document signings, ensuring the execution process is handled accurately, professionally, and efficiently. In addition, this position provides administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed. Because client experience is central to our mission, the Administrative Assistant plays an important role in helping clients feel welcomed, informed, and supported. Furthermore, this position offers an excellent opportunity for someone seeking an entry-level administrative role within a growing law firm. No prior legal experience is required. Location: Winchester, VA Position Type: Part-time (16 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays only) What We are Looking For: A people-person who is administrative-minded. Skills: Able to actively listen Emotionally intelligent to understand client needs and problems Familiarity or the ability to quickly learn Microsoft Office and related cloud-based software products Strong organization skills to manage follow-up with clients Detail-oriented and efficient Self-motivated with strong time management ability Job Responsibilities Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service during estate planning and legal document signing appointments. Handles other administrative tasks, including proofreading, drafting correspondence, and other documents. Prepare documents to be mailed. Witness document signings to meet Virginia law standards. Scan, organize, and maintain legal documents and client files accurately. Tidy up conference rooms after each use. Assist in monitoring office supplies and inventory.
