Job Summary:

The Manager, Global Tax Accounting and Reporting is responsible for managing the Company’s global income tax provision, financial statement disclosures, and related tax accounting controls. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP (ASC 740) and international tax accounting standards, managing the quarterly and annual tax provision processes, and estimated cash tax payments. This role coordinates and ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of global tax reporting processes and supports continuous improvement in systems, controls, and reporting efficiency, and role partners closely with, Controllership, FP&A, Internal Audit and external advisors to support accurate financial reporting and maintain strong internal controls across the global tax reporting function. A significant focus will be on optimizing data and technology in all Tax workstreams to enhance accuracy and drive efficiencies across the Global Tax function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage global ETR, including forecasting, variance analysis, and communication to senior Tax leadership.
• Lead the preparation of the quarterly and annual global income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740; manage current and deferred tax calculations, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48); analyze the ETR and perform return-to-provision true-ups.
• Monitor global tax legislation changes, assessing their impact and providing strategic recommendations.
• Manage the preparation and review of tax-related disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K; ensure compliance with reporting standards, such as ASU 2023-09.
• Serve as a point of contact for external auditors regarding tax provision and SOX controls; mitigate risk by maintaining robust internal controls.
• Manage the consolidation of global tax results, including U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reporting timelines.
• Coordinate with Controllership and external auditors to support audits of tax provision and disclosures; ensure alignment with accounting policy changes, new tax legislation, and emerging guidance impacting tax accounting.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over tax reporting (SOX compliance), ensuring documentation, review, and audit readiness standard are consistently met.
• Implement best practices and standardization across jurisdictions to improve efficiency and scalability, focusing on optimizing data and technology throughout Tax Department processes and workstreams.
• Support tax planning and business transactions by assessing impacts on ETR and financial reporting.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• CPA required
• Advanced degree (MST, JD/LLM) helpful but not required.

Years and Type of Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive tax experience, including significant focus on global tax provision under ASC 740 and global tax reporting
• Experience in a multinational public company environment preferred
• Big 4 experience strongly preferred
• Deep expertise in ASC 740, including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions
• Strong understanding of U.S. international tax concepts (e.g., GILTI, FTC, BEAT, Subpart F) and their financial reporting implications.
• Experience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource) and ERP/consolidation systems

The base salary and variable compensation for this role is between $136,631 and $187,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
