MOCVD Process Engineer | $100,000 to $125,000 Base Salary | Full Time | Direct Hire What Matters Most Competitive base salary of $100,000 to $125,000 Full time, on site direct hire opportunity Hands on MOCVD experience with InP or GaAs epitaxial growth is required Own semiconductor epitaxial growth processes, characterization, optimization, troubleshooting, and production support Work directly with sophisticated MOCVD equipment including electrical, control, gas flow, vacuum, and toxic gas handling systems Relocation assistance available within the United States Immigration sponsorship may be available for candidates currently authorized to work in the United States Job Description We are seeking an experienced MOCVD Process Engineer to support the fabrication of thin film compound semiconductors within a highly technical manufacturing environment. This is a hands on engineering position responsible for operating and supporting metal organic chemical vapor deposition equipment while driving consistent epitaxial growth, process quality, yield, and equipment performance. The ideal candidate brings direct InP or GaAs MOCVD epitaxial deposition experience and is comfortable working across semiconductor processing, equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, material characterization, quality control, and production support. Responsibilities Perform epitaxial growth of compound semiconductor devices using MOCVD equipment Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and support repair of MOCVD growth systems Troubleshoot electrical, control, gas flow, vacuum, and related equipment systems associated with MOCVD growth tools Analyze and resolve material growth and process performance issues Document growth runs, characterization data, process parameters, quality control results, and yield performance Support process design, optimization, production execution, and continuous improvement initiatives Develop and maintain technical reports, operating procedures, and SOPs Follow established MOCVD safety requirements, including protocols associated with toxic gas handling Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline Five or more years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or two or more years with a master's degree Direct hands on experience with InP or GaAs epitaxial deposition and MOCVD growth processes Working knowledge of MOCVD equipment, processes, and related safety requirements Experience with process design, process optimization, or semiconductor production support Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability with the ability to identify and resolve complex process and equipment issues Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience Compound semiconductor device fabrication MOCVD process development and optimization Thin film semiconductor manufacturing Material and device characterization Semiconductor yield and quality analysis Gas flow and toxic gas handling systems Electrical and control system troubleshooting High volume semiconductor production support Benefits and Perks Base salary of $100,000 to $125,000 Competitive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) with employer matching Unused paid time off payout at the end of the year Relocation package available within the United States Immigration sponsorship opportunities for qualified candidates currently authorized to work in the United States Opportunity to work directly with advanced compound semiconductor technology Your New Organization Our client is a technology driven manufacturer operating within the semiconductor and optoelectronics industry.
