Oversee Medical Billing Specialist team. Oversee billing and collections process to ensure claims are being submitted properly, timely, and efficiently. Assist Medical Billing Specialists with claim follow up and provide guidance to assist them in collecting unpaid claims. Oversee authorizations and provide guidance to Medical Billing Specialists to ensure all authorizations are submitted and approved timely. Communicate with Clients on the status of their claims, payments, and authorizations. Review claims, denials, and authorization data daily to ensure everything is complete and accurate. Point of contact for all Maryland Medicaid clients and any questions they have regarding their billing and collections.
