This position will require the operation of a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise. The Clerk is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Packer duties.Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times.Salary Range: $16.00 To 18.00 HourlyCompensation commensurate with experience.At time, we are not engaging with agencies or third-party recruiters. Thank you for understanding.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoad, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipmentPull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring quantity and accuracy of product has been preparedAccurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping chargesEfficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailersMaintain accuracy and quality of outbound shipments including damages and quality variances, report as neededEfficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areasComplete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)Report all injuries, illnesses, and near misses to management immediatelyAdhere to all safety rules and regulations as set forth by 4overComplete and maintain required records and paperwork, as neededPerform regular housekeeping duties in assigned and surrounding areasAttend all department/ company meetings, as neededPerform other assigned dutiesWear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when requiredExperience and QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalency; or six-months to one-year related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of two (2) years related shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and/or trainingMinimum of two years (2) experience operating a sit-down forkliftBasic computer knowledge requiredCritical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequirementsProblem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills when faced with unexpected challenges, such as machine malfunctions, material shortages, or errors in print quality. Ability to adapt to new printing technologies or changes in production schedules, ensuring smooth operations despite changes.Time Management & Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple print jobs simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality. Organizing workflows, preparing materials in advance, and optimizing print runs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Attention to Detail: Precision in monitoring print jobs to ensure all details, such as color accuracy, image sharpness, and print placement, meet the required standards. Detecting small defects or inconsistencies during production and taking corrective action immediately.Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand corporate policies, job-related documents, and written/verbal instructions in English to ensure effective and compliant job performance.Strong foundational math skills, with the ability to perform basic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Highly detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in managing time, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks accurately.4over Company History4over was founded in February of 2001.
