Project Manager

Job Description

At Billion Dollar Boy, the Project Manager supports the end-to-end delivery of social-first influencer and creator marketing campaigns. Partnering across Client Services, Strategy, Creative, and other cross-functional teams, they coordinate project activities to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and in line with client objectives.

The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day project coordination, including maintaining timelines, tracking deliverables, managing workflows, and communicating project status, risks, and dependencies. They work closely with cross-functional teams to keep projects organized, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure teams have the information they need to execute effectively.

The Project Manager follows established project management processes and contributes to improving workflows and ways of working. They help maintain consistent delivery standards and support effective collaboration across teams.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Ownership

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of influencer, creator, and social marketing campaigns.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and success measures to support effective project execution.
• Coordinate collaboration across Client Services, Strategy, Creative, A&I, Paid Media, Production, and external partners to keep work aligned and moving forward.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges, escalating issues and supporting the implementation of solutions as needed.

Project Planning & Delivery

• Coordinate project kick-offs, timelines, milestones, and resource planning.
• Support the development of project scopes, delivery plans, and workflows in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Track project execution and deliverables to ensure work meets quality expectations and client objectives.
• Coordinate project reviews, approvals, and key milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project workflows and task tracking, helping teams stay organized and delivery remain on schedule.
• Monitor project progress, flag risks and blockers, and work with relevant teams to resolve issues or escalate as needed.

Financial & Resource Management

• Track project budgets, spend, burn rates, and reconciliations in partnership with Client Services.
• Coordinate with Operations and relevant teams to support resource planning and allocation.
• Monitor project scope and track change requests, flagging potential budget or timeline impacts.
• Monitor project performance and recommend adjustments to optimize delivery outcomes.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and team members, clients, and external partners.
• Provide clear communication on project status, risks, timelines, and recommendations.
• Facilitate project governance, ensuring timely decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage expectations while balancing client needs, strategic and creative ambition, and operational priorities.
• Facilitate transparent communication across cross-functional teams, ensuring information flows effectively and dependencies are surfaced early.
• Lead with positivity and accountability, fostering a team environment that motivates collaboration, ownership, and high performance.

Operational Excellence

• Follow established project management processes, workflows, and delivery standards to support consistent project execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and ways of working, sharing suggestions with relevant team members.
• Use project management tools and systems effectively to maintain visibility into project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
• Lead project retrospectives, capturing key learnings and translating insights into process improvements and best practices.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3–5+ years of project management experience within a marketing, creative, social or integrated agency environment. Experience delivering influencer, creator, or social-first marketing campaigns is considered an asset.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope management, budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, risk management and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasting, profitability, reconciliations and scope management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and delivery challenges, resolve day-to-day issues, and escalate when needed.
• Experience maintaining project workflows and contributing to process improvements that support efficient and consistent delivery.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Smartsheet, Float, Slack, and similar platforms.
