About the Opportunity

An opportunity to join an established Commercial General Contractor based in Falls Church, Virginia, with a strong track record of delivering construction projects throughout the DC region since the 1980s.

The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion, managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, cost control, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, change orders, and scope coordination.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Lead project meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Strong background working for a General Contractor on commercial projects.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and project management processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
