Human Resources Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support and serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees. This role blends hands‑on execution with process improvement across employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, benefits, compensation support, and HR operations. Because this is a confidential search, company details will be shared with qualified candidates as the process advances. What You Will Do Lead day‑to‑day HR support for the corporate location while partnering with facility HR teams as needed. Maintain compliant HR policies, procedures, reporting practices, and employment records. Stay current on employment laws, government reporting requirements, and HR best practices. Advise managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation. Support plant HR partners with recruiting systems, job postings, and process questions. Plan and deliver new hire orientation, compliance training, and training tied to quality system requirements. Assist with workplace accident reporting, including OSHA and insurance carrier documentation. Recommend practical improvements that increase HR efficiency, consistency, and service quality. Manage assigned HR projects, communications, exit interviews, and backup support for HR team members when needed. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. Must have 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, manager, or similar role. Working knowledge of employment compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. Experience training managers and employees on HR systems, expectations, and processes. Sound judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally. Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and follow‑through skills.
