Tax Senior Manager

Location: Hybrid in Cleveland or Akron Ohio

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients across a variety of industries.

• Review complex federal state and local tax returns for corporations partnerships S corporations trusts and individuals.

• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to business owners and high-net-worth clients.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Mentor coach and review the work of tax staff seniors and managers.

• Assist with staff development performance evaluations and training initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve client operations through proactive tax strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting required.

• CPA license required.

• 6 years of recent public accounting tax experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and supervising staff.

• Familiarity with modern tax preparation and workflow software.
