CVOR Surgical Technologist

Location: Columbia, SC

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support a cardiovascular operating room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures and be comfortable performing both scrub and circulating duties in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements:

• NBSTSA Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR or Surgical Technologist experience
• Experience scrubbing and circulating required

Schedule:

• 4x10 Day Shifts
• On-call responsibilities required and discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures
• Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular and vascular surgeries
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards
• Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs throughout cases
• Ensure accurate instrument, sponge, and supply counts
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to optimize patient outcomes
