Learn more about our purpose, growth, and support at State Fund Here: In This Role You Will Learn the lifecycle of a Workers Compensation claim and the governing codes and laws Ensure timely and accurate benefit provision, according to claims management, corporate policies & procedures and DWC laws and regulations Proactively and independently, manage, finalize and control (adjust) an inventory Collaborate with a team of claims professionals and other stakeholders Serve as a resource to other team members and/or other internal staff Ensure delivery of a high‑quality claims product as demonstrated by successful execution of job duties If you have more than 4 years of workers’ compensation claims adjusting experience, please see posting JC-533136 (Alameda) for openings at the Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster level. Special Requirements Effective July1,2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program2025 (PLP2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
