Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
