Key Responsibilities Market Development & Client Acquisition Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, civic, and mixed‑use project sectors Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients including developers, property owners, municipal agencies, general contractors, and design‑build partners Represent the company at AEC industry events, trade associations (AGC, AIA, SMPS, ACEC), and community functions to expand brand presence Conduct targeted outreach campaigns leveraging CRM data, project tracking databases, and personal network intelligence Relationship Management Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts throughout the pursuit and project delivery phases Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with decision‑makers at client organizations Collaborate with technical staff and project managers to ensure seamless handoffs from pursuit to execution Coordinate post‑project debriefs to evaluate client satisfaction and identify renewal or expansion opportunities Proposal & Pursuit Coordination Lead or support go/no‑go evaluations for RFPs, RFQs, and design‑build solicitations Coordinate proposal development with technical leads, ensuring content is compelling, accurate, and differentiated Manage proposal schedules, compliance checklists, and submission logistics Develop interview presentations and support shortlist preparation alongside senior leadership Strategic Intelligence & Reporting Monitor local and regional construction activity, permit filings, and development announcements to flag early‑stage opportunities Track competitor positioning, market pricing, and project award trends to inform pursuit strategy Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reporting to leadership Contribute to annual BD planning, revenue forecasting, and goal‑setting processes Qualifications Required 5+ years of business development, sales, or client relations experience within the AEC industry Demonstrated track record of winning pursuits and growing client relationships in a professional services or construction environment Working knowledge of AEC project delivery methods including design‑bid‑build, design‑build, CM‑at‑risk, and P3 Familiarity with local Las Vegas/Southern Nevada construction market, key players, and project drivers Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives and public agency stakeholders Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite Strongly Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Active involvement in local AEC professional associations (AGC Nevada, AIA Las Vegas, Nevada SMPS chapter, or similar) Experience supporting public sector pursuits (government, municipal, transportation, education, or healthcare) Familiarity with Dodge Construction Network, ConstructConnect, or similar project intelligence tools Great reasons to look at this opportunity Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Rich and comprehensive benefits package; medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match Paid time off, holidays, and professional development budget A seat at the table, direct access to leadership and meaningful input into company growth strategy A strong project portfolio and reputation in the Las Vegas market you can be proud to represent The Right Fit We are not looking for someone who needs a playbook handed to them.
