Respiratory Therapist - Night ShiftLocation: New York, NYAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Operating in a seven on seven off schedule - Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) or Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a small community hospital. You will be responsible for managing patients with respiratory diseases, providing non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and performing ABG draws and analysis. You will also be involved in chest physiotherapy to enhance patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesProvide respiratory care to patients in critical condition.Manage the use of Phillips V60 Bipap and Teleflex High Flow Nasal Cannulas.Perform aerosol therapy and pulmonary hygiene interventions.Interpret arterial blood gas results.Evaluate and monitor patients' respiratory conditions.Collaborate with the clinical team to stabilize invasive ventilation cases for transfer when necessary.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent State License (NY) in hand to submit.ACLS, BLS, CRT certifications required.Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience.Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.Ability to float to other units as required.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
