IT Asset Management SpecialistThe IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations for MYR and subsidiary companies. The ITAM Specialist plays a key role in assisting in ensuring accurate documentation, database records, and reporting. They help maintain IT Hardware stock locations and inventory by moving, stocking, and maintaining IT hardware baselines. The ITAM Specialist will also assist in contacting users about software license renewals and/or contract compliance, amongst other financial tasks. Resolves inventory and database conflictsVerifies, enters, and adjusts ITAM data in a variety of forms, schedules, and reportsUtilizes our ITSM Tool and CMDB to track the entire lifecycle of each asset, including warranty, financial, procurement, refresh date, and other informationHelps maintain the eWaste process through our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) vendorsOversees the receipt of product and maintenance of asset records to ensure goods are received or returnedHelps with license audits, contacting users, and compiling responsesIs the face of excellence in customer service to our users while guiding them to company standardsCreates and maintains good relationships with vendors/suppliersWorks with other departments to create and/or improve processesWorks with two Senior team members and IT Manager to complete duties as assignedMay participate in occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilitiesRegular and predictable attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstands and complies with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standardsQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience with IT asset management (including computer hardware and software equipment) or role with closely-related duties/responsibilities in lieu of degreeAssociate's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent 1 year of corresponding work experienceReadiness or experience working with an ITSM application and workflow documentationMust have competent Excel skills for data input with an emphasis on quality and ability to identify and fix issuesIAITAM CAMP certification preferredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesWillingness to build upon foundational IT and Financial skillsExperience with computers and software, including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInitiative-taker with ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAbility to learn to analyze problems and strategize for resolution or improvementsAccuracy and precise attention to detailCustomer-centric with the ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levelsGoal-oriented and organized collaboratorAbility to lift/carry up a stepladder to 25 lbs. of equipmentUtilization of a pallet jack is a plusSpecial projects and other duties as assignedAbility to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of Company standards for usage of IT resourcesCompensation & BenefitsSalary $50,000-$75,000 / year commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
