Our work centers on new home builds, metal structures, and foundation design, and we're growing fast. We're looking for a licensed, motivated engineer who wants real ownership of projects and room to grow with the team. Responsibilities Design structural systems for new residential construction, including framing, beams, headers, shear walls, and lateral design Design and analyze metal structures such as steel-framed buildings, carports, canopies, and other light commercial steel projects Design shallow and deep foundations, including slabs, footings, helical piles, drilled piers, and retaining walls Review and update load calculations and provide structural assessments for failing or damaged structures Produce engineering calculations and red-line drawings for permit-ready plan sets Work toward managing projects from initial scope through final stamped deliverables Obtain licensure in additional states as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Active PE license required (SE or structural focus preferred) Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required Experience with residential design and wood framing per IRC and IBC Experience designing steel structures per AISC Experience with foundation design, including deep foundations and retaining walls Proficient in RISA 3D, AutoCAD, Enercalc, Excel or similar Strong communication skills and comfortable working directly with builders and clients Must be authorized to work in the United States
